Today is the Day! No Housework Blog Hop!

Welcome to the National No Housework Day Online Blog Hop! If you have arrived not knowing until now about the hop, no problem . . . just go back to If It's Groovy at http://www.ifitsgroovy.blogspot.com/ where this hop starts and work your way through. You may find games, prizes, projects and challenges along the way! Perhaps you arrived here from Erica (http://www.allthingscrafty-erica.blogspot.com/) at her blog All Things Crafty. If so, fantastic! We celebrate this national holiday by scrapping today and into the weekend with projects that remind us of housework . . . or getting away from it! As you can see, I made a birdhouse to celebrate this holiday! Why a birdhouse you ask? What do birds have to do with housework? Well, let me tell you . . . I think "Housework is for the Birds!"


So here is my challenge to you . . .

1. Become a follower of the If It's Groovy Blog (http://www.ifitsgroovy.blogspot.com/).

2. Become a follower of my blog Scrapping The Guys (you are already here so why not!).

3. In keeping with the bird theme, create a project (card, layout, altered item, etc) that has a bird on it.

4. Leave me a comment on my blog stating which of the four of these you did or all and I will put you in for a RAK from me of some of my favorite things! (See below)

    Love "for the birds"! Anything with birds is awesome. I have done all but create the project, but I am going to get that done this weekend, picked up a vintage birdcage at a flea market two weeks ago, not really knowing what I was going to do with it, it will be the perfect project base!

    Heather, Loving how your blog looks now, I have been a follower for a long time, but have to admit I haven't stopped by in a while, it is looking great, i love it! Love your little bird house too, soo cool! As you know I am also a follower of IIG where I see most of your gorgeous projects:) I will try my best to do your bird challenge although I have to admit I don;t have many birds!     Hi there! I became a follower of "If It's Groovy" and of your blog as well! I love your birdhouse and completely agree with the sentiment, too. I will try to get a project done with a bird and post it, but in case I don't, wanted to let you know which of the challenges I completed (not that becoming a follower and getting info and inspiration from these two awesome blogs is really a challenge...) 8-)
